Diet FAQ

Diet FAQ

I frequently get asked many questions about dieting.

These are the top questions I am asked.

Question: What is the best way to lose weight?

Answer: The successful slimmer loses weight slowly and surely, and establishes a healthy eating and exercise pattern.

Question: Are all diets safe?

Answer: Calorie intake can be reduced in a variety of ways, but not all slimming plans are scientifically based, and some of them can actually be quite dangerous.

Question: Is Exercise important to losing weight?

Answer: Totally. If you eat more food than your body uses up in energy, the surplus calories are stored as fat. The only sensible and effective way to lose weight is to combine a healthy low-fat diet with regular aerobic exercise such as walking, cycling or jogging.

Question: How do I get rid of stomach fat?

Answer: Performing sit-ups is not the answer. Your body burns fat best when it is burned all over your body and that means eventually you will lose fat from your stomach.

So, following a good diet plan with exercise is the best way to lose belly fat.

Question: Should I count calories?

Answer: It is now considered that obsessive calorie counting is now viewed as a rather old-fashioned and impractical way to lose weight.

If you concentrate on cutting your fat intake, it is not necessary to count calories.

Just make sure you know which foods are calorie laden, and avoid them.

Question: What diet do you recommend and why?

Answer: I recommend Strip That Fat because of it’s core principles. First, it gives you the freedom to choose foods you like eating. There is no point in eating food at all if you don’t enjoy what you are eating and a diet won’t work if you don’t like the food.

Secondly, it incorporates some exercise techniques that anyone can do. They also provide “busy schedule” exercises as well for those who cannot find enough time in the day.

And thirdly, it is a diet that focuses not only on short term weight loss, but long term. This is very important because most diets are short lived and you gain all the weight back. This is not the case with Strip That Fat
